03. Pencils at the ready!
Start working on a storyboard for the script you wrote in the last lesson. You may find that some things that made sense in your script suddenly are much harder to visualize in the storyboard - that's ok, and even expected. You can either use the skybox format I described earlier (template below) or you can also read about an alternate method, and use that instead at the following link.
Each major beat of your story should have a corresponding board - if the camera shot changes, if characters move around, for example. Some stories can be told in just a few boards, others need many. They should communicate what's happening and where it's happening. Include symbols, arrows to show motion, and text to help explain if necessary. Simple, clear boards, are best.
